POLICY AND PRACTICE

Diversity

Conxept is a team drawn from different backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences. That mix is not a nice-to-have, it is why the work is better. People who have lived different lives see different problems, reach different audiences, and catch what a room full of the same person would miss. We build the team that way on purpose.

In principle

We believe diversity, equity, and inclusion are part of doing good work, not a box to tick. In plain terms, here is what each one means to us:

  • Diversity is who we bring in. People of different races, ethnicities, genders, ages, abilities, neurotypes, sexual orientations, gender identities, and backgrounds.
  • Equity is how we treat them. A fair shot for everyone, which means meeting different needs rather than pretending everyone starts from the same place.
  • Inclusion is what happens next. A place where people speak up, disagree, and do their best work without hiding who they are.

We are committed to a workplace that is accessible, respectful, and welcoming to everyone on the team. We hold ourselves to that, we do not just publish it.

In practice

Values only count when they show up in how the company runs. Here is what that looks like at Conxept.

How we hire

We hire for the work and for the range of people who do it well, not for who fits in. We write job posts in plain language, keep the process consistent for every candidate, and make reasonable adjustments for anyone who needs them. If a step in our hiring keeps a qualified person out for the wrong reasons, we change the step.

Who owns it

Someone has to own this or it drifts. If Conxept has a working group or council, describe it here. If it is one accountable leader for now, say that plainly instead of inventing a committee.

Support for the team

[Describe any real support the team has, for example private channels or groups where colleagues with shared backgrounds can connect, flexible working, or accessibility support.] Only list groups or channels that exist and that the people in them have agreed to make public.

Giving back

[Describe any real giving: organisations Conxept supports, pro bono work, or contributions that fit the mission.] Name the organisations and the kind of support, so the claim is specific and checkable rather than vague.

Work with us, or join us

If this is the kind of team you want to build with, come and see the work. If it is the kind of team you want to join, come and see the openings.
