STANDARDS

Code of conduct

This code of conduct sets out how we behave at Conxept: as individuals, as a team, and as a company. It applies to everyone who works here, and it is the standard we hold ourselves to whether or not anyone is watching.

Who this applies to

This applies to everyone acting on behalf of Conxept: the owner, employees, and contractors. We also expect the people we work with, clients, partners, and vendors, to treat our team with the same respect we extend to them.

How each of us behaves

The personal standard we hold every individual to:

  • Be honest. We tell the truth to clients and to each other, even when it is uncomfortable.
  • Be accountable. We own our mistakes and fix them, rather than hide them or pass them on.
  • Respect people. No harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind, in line with our commitment to diversity.
  • Protect what is trusted to us. We keep client information and personal data confidential and handle it with care.
  • Stay within the law. We do not cut legal or ethical corners to hit a number.

How we treat each other

The standard for how the team works together:

  • We make room for everyone to speak up, disagree, and be heard.
  • We give feedback directly and kindly, and we take it the same way.
  • We keep the workplace safe and inclusive, not just on paper.
  • We raise concerns early instead of letting them fester.

How we act as a company

The standard for how Conxept behaves in the world:

  • With clients. We sell the outcome, not just activity, and we do not promise what we cannot deliver.
  • In our marketing. We state what is true, use real numbers, and avoid hype and fear-based selling.
  • With data. We handle personal data lawfully and only as set out in our privacy policy.
  • On independence. We do not take payment to recommend something, and we label paid partnerships.
  • On fair dealing. We compete on the quality of our work, not by running down others unfairly.

Raising a concern

If you see behaviour that breaks this code, from anyone at Conxept, say so. Email [conduct@conxept.com], or speak to [the owner or a named person]. We take concerns seriously, we do not punish anyone for raising one in good faith, and we keep reports as confidential as we can.

How we hold to this code of conduct

A code only matters if it has teeth. Breaking it has consequences, up to and including ending someone’s time at Conxept, or ending a client relationship. We would rather lose a contract than keep one that asks us to act against this code.

Keeping this current

We review it as the company grows, and questions go to [hello@conxept.com]. This code of conduct is the floor we hold ourselves to, not the ceiling.
